Effective Date: 20/01/2026 These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by FixitMax. By using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Services Provided

We provide mobile, on-the-go phone repair services, diagnostics, cleaning, and related services at customer locations or public spaces.

All services are subject to availability and device condition.

2. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your device and any known faults

  • Back up your device before repair

  • Remove SIM cards, memory cards, and accessories unless required for the repair

  • Disable security locks or provide access where necessary for testing

We are not responsible for issues caused by incomplete or incorrect information.

3. Data & Device Content

  • We do not intentionally access personal data (photos, messages, accounts) unless required and explicitly requested by you.

  • We are not responsible for loss of data caused by existing faults, water damage, or pre-existing conditions.

  • Customers are responsible for backing up their data prior to repair.

4. Repairs & Limitations

You acknowledge that:

  • Repairs may involve opening the device and replacing parts

  • Pre-existing damage (including internal damage) may affect repair outcomes

  • Some devices may not be repairable or may fail after repair due to prior condition

We will inform you if a repair cannot be completed or if additional issues are discovered.

5. Warranty

  • We offer a limited warranty on parts and workmanship for repairs carried out by us.

  • The warranty does not cover:

    • Physical damage

    • Water or liquid damage

    • Software issues

    • Damage caused after the repair

    • Third-party repairs or modifications

Warranty terms and duration will be explained at the time of service.

6. Payment

  • Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.

  • We accept cash and/or electronic payment methods.

  • Prices quoted are based on the information provided and may change if additional issues are found (with your approval).

7. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Customers should provide reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • We reserve the right to charge a call-out or diagnostic fee where applicable.

8. Recording & Social Media

  • We may record photos or videos for social media or promotional purposes only with your consent.

  • Recording is optional and refusal will not affect service.

  • You may withdraw consent at any time.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

10. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service where:

  • A repair is unsafe or impractical

  • A device is suspected to be stolen

  • Abuse, harassment, or threatening behaviour occurs

11. Accessibility & Adjustments

We aim to provide accessible services and reasonable adjustments where possible. Please inform us of any accessibility needs in advance where practical.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will apply to all services provided after the effective date.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
